I am a member of the Old Bethlehem (WV). We are not considered primitive baptists, we are United Baptist, although we are certainly similar to some Primitive Baptists, and certainly in opposition to "contemporary churches". We have one church in Ohio, we originated from Zion (KY, WV, OH), who originated from Paint Union (KY, OH, IN). Zion is United Baptist too, definitely not primitive in the same way as "Primitive Baptists".
This is an interesting list and I really love the history of the True Church which is upon the whole face of the world.

Hi, Chris. Thanks for much for stopping by and giving your comment and information on the Old Bethlehem Association. The point # IV listing "Primitivists" can be problematic and confusing. As used here it is not referring just to the group of Baptists that call themselves Primitive Baptists, but to all Baptists who believe they should try to be like the original or primitive (New Testament) church. I wrote a little explanation here: What is Primitivism. Let me know if it helps.

Thanks again! Good to hear from you.
