1. God, what Thou hast prepared for me,
I do not know, I cannot see,
But satisfied that it will be
Thy providential best.
Thy Word assures, Thou, Father, art
With sovereign grace and loving heart
A watchman o’er Thy children’s part,
And give eternal rest.
