Singing blogs
After eight or nine blogs on singing, perhaps you all are growing a little weary -- I couldn't even get a Baptist reaction by posting a Reformed position on singing Psalms only! Ha. Well, we'll move on to something else. ;-)

Sorry, Robert...I am not much into singing. I do play,,or used to,,but not a singer by a stretch. It was interesting to read, but not for comment.
When I was a lad in school in Wales, we sat according to our voice. The master tried everything with me.............I ended up pumping the organ..you might remember the old organs with foot pumps.
Jim, I remember the old pump organs. In fact there is still one in our family. One of my cousins has it. Story is that back in the early 1900s, four of them were bought in our community -- the church bought one, my great-grandfather bought one, his brother-in-law bought one, and my mother's uncle bought one. They were all built in a walnut cabinet. I don't know what happened to the other three. My oldest sister's mother-in-law also used to have a pump organ in her home. Around here lot of folks called them "bellows" organs (not sure about the spelling).
