A New Year's Poem

New Years' Thoughts, (Common Meter) written Dec. 30, 1992

Another year has come and gone;
We nothing can re-do.
Adorn fresh laurels near His throne;
Replace the old with new.

Another year has rolled around;
The Lord has let us live.
Let praises to His name abound,
And honours gladly give.
