How a group of Presbyterians is trying to reshape the SBC:
“…there is no independent nonprofit called the Center for Baptist Leadership. CBL is only a d/b/a (doing business as) moniker of American Reformer…”

I read the linked article. Perilous times. I agree neither with the seeming positions of the author, nor of the ones she is writing about. And I think the SBC is an organization Bible believers should eschew. I think the author is correct, nonetheless, in critiquing a presbyterian group trying to influence alleged Baptists as if the influencers were (all) Baptists. Sounds like "the end justifies the means." Seems most labels in use in the 21st century are deceptive or at least marketing-esque.

Thanks for your thoughts, Brother. Seems we get closer and closer to the abyss as a nation, and Christians within out nation. I posted that rather hurriedly without comment, but hoping the title "pot calling the kettle" would clue that I am not endorsing Baptist News Global. I think they are pretty rank in their unbiblical views, actually (and more so than the SBC). But that happened to be where I found the news, and I had not seen it elsewhere. It is pretty deceptive for a non-Baptist group to call themselves the Center for Baptist Leadership!
