Very good quotations, Brother Vaughn. Thanks. I like the R. C. Sproul quotation, but I find so much of his theology to be allegorical interpretation (e.g. Covenant Theology), that I am skittish about the source. I've noticed that theologians that seem to be way off base on lots of things can come up with some wise, insightful, and persuasive sayings. I think his sheep/goats one is one of them. Some men are better with words than with exposition. But where their genius with words meets good theology, the impact is very beneficial.

Quoting folks can be a source of joy and consternation. It seems that sometimes the folks who are best at putting together words together for short quotes of a single sentence or two are often not the best a putting together a straight biblical theology.
