1. Give to the winds thy fears,
Hope and be undismayed.
God hears thy sighs and counts thy tears,
God will lift up thy head.
2. Leave to His sovereign sway
To choose and to command;
Then shalt thou, wandering, own His way,
How wise, how strong His hand.
3. Far, far above thy thought,
His counsel shall appear;
When fully He the work hath wrought
That caused thy needless fear.
4. Through waves and clouds and storms,
He gently clears the way;
Wait thou His time; so shall this night
Soon end in joyous day.

1 comment:
Our fears can certainly be like a vapor blowing in the wind, which is what this life is akin to.
What greater renewal than to see a faint glimpse of light in the East, then to watch it progress into a bright orange configuration. Gone are yesterdays occcurances and now here is the hope of greater opportunites and a renewal of life by the hand of God.
