Ten Ministerial Mistakes (copied from somewhere I forgot to set down. Do not know whom to credit. Sorry.)
- Loving the spotlight but not the secret place.
- Treating correction as an attack rather than an advantage.
- Wanting authority without accountability.
- Burning bridges instead of building bridges.
- Following societal trends rather than scriptural tenets.
- Planning functions rather than pastoring the flock.
- Climbing the ladder rather than condescending to wash feet.
- Fancying fans but not treasuring teachers.
- Preaching on Sunday but not pursuing all week.
- Ministering to get rather than give.
Christians ministers must be in it for the outcome and not the income!
