Below is a link to a post on Mount Carmel Blog yesterday, “A Tribute of Respect” upon the death of of Lemuel Herrin (1787-1852). Herrin was an early Republic of Texas minister who came here from Tennessee circa. (M. Melton, chairman of the committee, married Herrin’s niece.)
