- biddable, adjective. Ready to follow instructions; easily led, taught, or controlled; docile.
- bitable, adjective. That may be bitten.
- breezy, adjective. Appearing relaxed, informal, and cheerily brisk.
- credentialism, noun. The belief in or reliance on academic or other formal qualifications as the best measure of a person’s intelligence or ability to do a particular job; undue emphasis on credentials (such as college degrees) as prerequisites to employment and job promotion.
- cromulent, adjective. Acceptable, adequate, satisfactory.
- enigmatic, adjective. Resembling an enigma, or a puzzling occurrence, situation, statement, person, etc.; perplexing; mysterious.
- fulminant, adjective. Occurring suddenly and with great intensity or severity; developing or progressing suddenly.
- grass widow, noun. A woman who is separated, divorced, or lives apart from her husband; a woman whose husband is away from home frequently or for a long time, as on business or to pursue a sport or hobby; a discarded mistress.
- hangry, adjective. Bad-tempered or irritable as a result of hunger.
- hemochromatosis (or iron overload), noun. A condition in which your body stores too much iron.
- instanter, adverb. At once; immediately.
- lateral, adjective. Of, at, toward, or from the side or sides.
- overmuch, adverb. Too much; excessively.
- rhabdomyolysis, noun. An acute, fulminant, potentially fatal disease that destroys skeletal muscle and is often accompanied by the excretion of myoglobin in the urine.
- scot-free, adjective. Without suffering any consequences or punishment; completely free from harm, restraint, punishment, or obligation.
- stultify, verb (used with object), To make, or cause to appear, foolish or ridiculous; to render absurdly or wholly futile or ineffectual, especially by degrading or frustrating means.
- sward, noun. An expanse of short grass; a grassy surface of land; turf.
- transmogrify, verb. Transform in a surprising or magical manner; to change or alter greatly and often with grotesque or humorous effect.
